Why are people starting to put up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving?

This has got me annoyed. I can’t imagine sitting at the table on Thanksgiving and looking at a Christmas tree or decorations while trying to enjoy this particular holiday. What would seperate Christmas dinner from Thanksgiving dinner when you are looking at highly decorated christmas wreaths, bows andtrees with garlands, ornate ornaments, bulbs and an angel or star at the very top on both holidays??

For Thanksgiving, the decorations were always the cornicopia or Horn of Plenty, gourds, autumn colors, turkey, native american and pilgrim figures, corn stalks, dried ears of red corn and other such harvest decorations. It seems now with Christmas on the rush that Thanksgiving is being pushed aside.

Why is everyone rushing into Christmas these days?? It’s not like people are rushing into the Chistmas spirit (which wouldn’t be all that bad except for the scrooges) but rather the glamour of Christmas. It’s all about the ooooh’s and ahhhh’s and that just blows.

OH MY GOD! i feel exactly the same way! i was in the store in august and they had halloween and thanksgiving stuff all around! i think it’s because store owners want to put out their decorations and then people think oh ……. is not far away i’ll get some decorations but i really agree with you it is totally anoyying

    Hey, I had to upload it again because there were some problems in the other video but yeah enjoy ! Joe’s POV I went home. Nick was laughing with Kevin. I couldn’t understand how they could be so happy. Selena just died. Maybe they wanted to move on. But I didn’t. Selena was the only thing that ever mattered to me that much. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen in my entire life. And I never had a chance to tell her how I felt. Never will. I couldn’t handle being here. Around happy people. So I went back out. I decided to go by the tree me and Selena always went to. The one we found when we were little. I grabbed my text book and began writing a poem for her. To show how much I loved her. Selena loved poems. Selena’s POV I followed Joe everywhere. I hated seeing him like this. He was so sad. He had been crying. And began writing something in his book. I sat beside him and on the text book he had written ” for Selena ” He began writing something on it . – Your my world , your my joy, your my everything , your my sign , I miss you everyday , and all the things I wanted to say. I love you , I need you, I want to hold you. ( Sorry ! I just wrote something .. ) It was beautiful. He knew I loved poems. He loved me. I closed my eyes and was back in heaven. There I saw Miley again. I walked towards her. She turned around and saw me. ” how possibly am I going to become an angel if I can’t let go. I love him and I need to be with him… everyday in my life. I need him …

    Santa Joke?

    Santa was very cross. It was Christmas Eve and NOTHING was going right.
    Mrs. Claus had burned all the cookies. The elves were complaining about not getting paid for the overtime they had while making the toys. The reindeer had been drinking all afternoon and were dead drunk. To make matters worse, they had taken the sleigh out for a spin earlier in the day and had crashed it into a tree.
    Santa was furious. “I can’t believe it! I’ve got to deliver millions of presents all over the world in just a few hours — all of my reindeer are drunk, the elves are on strike and I don’t even have a Christmas tree! I sent that stupid Little Angel out HOURS ago to find a tree and he isn’t even back yet! What am I going to do?”
    Just then, the Little Angel opened the front door and stepped in from the snowy night, dragging a Christmas tree. He says, “Yo, fat man! Where do you want me to stick the tree this year?”
    And thus, the tradition of angels atop the Christmas trees came to pass….

    The first time I saw you, it was just like a dream come true,
    The sparkle in your eyes are like stars in the evening skies,
    Your mere presence makes my heartbeat fast,
    I’d always remember you even time passed,
    Thinking of you makes me smile without reason, just like a child having the best gift on Christmas season.

    I think of you day and night,
    Somehow, I can’t get you out of my sight,
    You’re so amazing,
    You’re smile is charming,
    Sometimes I get shy, when I see you passing by.

    Your hazel-brown eyes are the greatest surprise,
    You’re just like a song which I can’t forget,
    You’re just like an angel that in a dream that I’ve just met,
    Everything isn’t quite as it seems,
    You’re the brightest star I see in the night which gleams.
